Docs Privacy

Optional analytics on docs.boltise.ai and docs.cfxkit.com stays off until you select Allow analytics. You can keep reading and downloading the checklist without allowing it. Use Analytics settings at the bottom of any docs page to change your choice. We also respect your browser’s Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control signals.

If you allow analytics

We use Boltise’s existing PostHog US project to count documentation page visits and selected links: first-project setup, the installer guide, the checklist and the app download page. An anonymous browser identifier helps group those events. These counts help us understand which guides lead readers to a useful next step.

The events include the docs page path, the type and placement of a selected link, and basic campaign labels when present. Referral information is limited to the referring site’s origin. URL fragments, other query parameters, search terms and form input are excluded. Session recording, automatic click collection and person profiles are disabled on the docs site. We do not connect the docs identifier to your signed-in Boltise account or the desktop app.

Your browser connects to PostHog’s US ingestion service to deliver these events. We disable IP-based analytics enrichment. This notice describes the documentation site; the main website and desktop app have their own analytics behavior described in the Boltise privacy policy.

Storage and changing your choice

Your choice is remembered in this browser’s local storage. If you allow analytics, PostHog also uses docs-only local storage for its anonymous identifier and session information. We do not add analytics cookies on the docs site or share its identifier with the main website.

Selecting No thanks stops future docs analytics and clears the SDK’s persisted tracking data. It does not erase events already received by PostHog. Clearing this site’s browser storage also resets the choice. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice lasts only for the current page session.
