Installation

Boltise ships as a Windows desktop app with a built-in auto-updater. Install it once and it keeps itself current.

Download

Get the latest build from boltise.ai/download:

Boltise Setup is the Windows installer, and the only build we distribute. Boltise is Windows-only today — there is no macOS or Linux build, and no portable build.

Install on Windows

Run the downloaded Boltise Setup installer.
Choose whether to install for just you or for all users. Installing for all users needs administrator rights and puts Boltise in Program Files; the per-user default does not.
Pick an install folder, or accept the default.
Launch Boltise from your desktop or the Start menu.

First launch

Click Sign In in the top-right to unlock Boltise AI and cloud features.

Sign in with Discord or Google.
A free account includes the full IDE with bring-your-own-key support.
Paid plans (Plus, Pro, Max) include Boltise AI usage, so you do not need your own key. See Boltise AI for the breakdown.

An account is required. Boltise does not currently start without signing in — the editor, server manager and database tools are all behind the login screen, not only the AI.

Create or import a project

Once you are in, point Boltise at a server:

New project: pick FiveM or RedM, choose a framework template (QBCore, ESX, QBox, or VORP), and select a folder for the server files.
Import existing server: select your server-data folder, the one that holds server.cfg. Boltise detects the framework and resources automatically.
